64 EL rol de las VÍAS TERCIARIAS en la construcción de un nuevo país The role of Tertiary Roads in the construction of a new country Ernesto Correa Valderrama Director Operativo, Instituto Nacional de Vías Contacto: ecorreav@invias.gov.co Resumen El presente artículo presenta una visión de la problemática del país en relación con las vías terciarias, el papel de las vías terciarias como uno de los ejes en la transformación del campo colombiano, la reducción de las brechas sociales y la consolidación de la presencia del Estado en aquellas regiones que necesitan estabilización y oportunidades de desarrollo en este momento histórico en el que encuentra Colombia. Este documento deriva en una propuesta de acciones concretas con base en las experiencias del Sector Infraestructura de Transporte por lo cual, al final describe la estrategia de intervención con participación comunitaria y acción unificada en vías terciarias que actualmente se encuentra en desarrollo. Abstract This article presents a vision of the country 's problems in relation to tertiary roads, the role of tertiary roads as one of the axes in the transformation of the Colombian countryside, the reduction of social gaps and the consolidation of the presence of the State In regions that need stabilization and development opportunities in this historic moment in which Colombia is. This document derives from a proposal of concrete actions based on the experiences of the Transport Infrastructure Sector. In the end, it describes the strategy of intervention with community participation and unified action in tertiary roads that is currently under development.
